Greetings to everyone.

Things are going pretty good here. Sorry I haven't written for so long. This has just been a totally crazy year. I can't wait until the dust settles.

I don't have time to write a whole lot right now, but I'll just include a few details.

We're renting the upstairs of a house in New Haven 2 blocks from the Long Island sound, I work during the day in Human Resources for a hospital in Wallingford, CT and I work as a Cashier/Men's Dept associate at Kohl's dept. store in the evening. I am currently corresponding with a recruiter to go back in the Army as jobs and benefits are scarce.

Well, I hope to write more later and update.

Take care.

Kevin O.

Wow. Real close. I didn't even realize. And for the record - I LOVE NEW HAVEN, CT!!! If I have to leave, I'll definitely miss it. If I ever retire, I would like to retire with a house here.

A coworker told me that Litchfield is very country...like rolling hills and cows and stuff. I need 24 hour restaurants and the ocean. =) hehe

But I might still go visit there and check it out for myself. She said that it is pretty and they do have lakes right?

You're so green! :) (New)

Lakes, trees, rolling hills... Go visit the wonderful fall colors in Hartland and Granby. :)

Yeah, I'm pretty green in CT. At least I'm not blue. hehe

Wow.

Glad you were able to find work, even if it's not exactly what you had in mind.

Praying for you.

Thank you. After having gone 5 months unemployed I am most definitely thankful for the work I do have.

I'll do my best not to grumble too much in the future you know. =)

Yeah, definitely big changes. One thing that is nice is that it feels good to be getting back into shape. If I don't end up going back into the Army, I think I definitely will keep exercising. I'm really enjoying it. I'll have to peak at your journal later and catch up with your goings on.
